Being an active member of the small business/franchise community is fun. I have met, (and keep meeting) so many smart people.
Now, in this day and age, the word "meet" is a lot different than it was 10 years ago.
Sometimes when I say I met him, or we met last week, it means that we exchanged information online...via email, or on any one of the social media channels.
In this particular case, I never met Tim Berry, in person. But I will. I have to....
In case you don't know who Tim Berry is, he's the President and founder of Palo Alto Software, founder of bplans.com, and a co-founder of Borland International. If you used *business plan software to help you write your business plan, it was probably from Palo Alto Software.
Tim and I have been able to share business stories, (an idea or two once in awhile) and we like supporting one another.
Recently, he wrote an amazing post about business mistakes, and I want to share it with you. It's from one of his small business blogs, and it's worth your time to read it.

Thanks, Tim. (For all that you do for small business!)
