Operation Enduring Freedom is an industry-wide recruitment campaign that offers returning veterans career paths in franchising, including increased employment opportunities and incentives for ownership of franchise businesses through the IFA’s longstanding VetFran program, originally established in 1991.
For people that can follow the rules, franchise ownership can be a win-win.
Veterans have a proven track record of success in franchising. According to a recent study based on U.S. Census data, there are more than 66,000 veteran-owned franchise establishments in the United States, providing jobs directly for 815,000 Americans. Responding now to veteran unemployment rates of 11.7 percent (22 percent for veterans under 25 years-old), IFA is launching “Operation Enduring Opportunity” to offer returning veterans career paths in franchising including employment and ownership on a broader scale.
Over 2,100 veterans have become franchise business owners through the IFA’s VetFran program, established in 1991.
It's recommended that all Veterans...as a matter of fact, anyone considering franchise ownership, learn all they can about the franchise business model.
Buying this new book about becoming a franchise owner would be a great way to do just that.
