"Joel, I really don't care if I have to sell women's panty hose...Just as long as I can be my own boss, and build something substantial for myself and my family"........
That was the exact answer to the question I asked Chris Wisbar of Hudson, Ohio. The Question:
"Chris, does it matter what the business is or does, as long as you can reach your personal and professional goals"?
This is a question I ask, when I am in a meeting with candidates who have come to me for advice and guidance concerning getting into the right franchise business. In a previous post, I discussed my views about getting into the latest and greatest "hot" franchises. Post
Chris Wisbar is a guy who "gets" it. I knew it right away, when Chris and his wife Ellen{A CPA at CBIZ} came in for our meeting.Chris just wanted to get into a business he could call his own.
Chris was an engineer at Solon based Swagelok, and he knew it was his time to become a small business owner.
Chris and Ellen ended up buying an area franchise of "Sparkling Image". Fancy and catchy name. Real glamorous business, too. Video
Does it matter to you what the "image" of the business you invest in is? To some of you, image is important. To some, not. Either way is ok, if you can be pleased with your decision, did the right kind of research, and if it can help you "get where you want to go".
If you own a Cleveland/Akron area business that has public restrooms, and would like to learn about a great way to keep those public areas sanitized, you can e-mail Chris at cwisbar at sparkling-image dot com or call Chris at 330-655-0740. Good people. The Wisbar's
