Allan Soirefman must have really liked my presentation on franchising he heard at a local outplacement office. That's because he signed up for a public seminar I held a month later, in conjunction with National City Bank, at their east suburban facility.

Was ready for a change. I remember meeting with him. It wasn't a "Joel, I am looking at all my options kind of in-person meeting at my Chagrin Blvd. Office. It was a " Joel, I want to be my own boss, and I am ready" kind of meeting. 

During our 2+ hour meeting, I was able to get a sense of what Alan was all about. The two things that really stuck out, and I remember them well, were:

1. Allan's passion and energy for sales

2. Allan's assessment of the senior market, and the math that goes along with it.
