So many American military veterans are going to be returning home in the near future. Our heroes are going to face lots of choices. Some of the choices have to do with their career direction.
Some veterans will follow tradional career paths. They'll send their resumes out, and do some local business networking hoping to land a good job...one with a future. But, the U.S. job market hasn't exactly been robust. That could make a veterans transition from the military to civilian life all the more difficult.
One Possible Solution
Franchise ownership. It's one idea that is worth pursuing for veterans who are willing to take some financial risk.
From Franchise Direct:
"Franchising offers an excellent opportunity for individuals leaving one dedicated post for another the chance to embrace managing a business, setting a schedule, building on core skills such as the kind of self discipline that is required to make a franchise work. These are responsibilities that directly correspond with much of what is expected of those serving in the military and veterans carry these attributes with them when they seek alternative career paths."
See what I mean? It could work.
Veterans Can Change Their Career Path With A Franchise
If you're a military veteran, and you feel that you're "franchise material," why not spend a few weeks looking around at franchises for sale? You could find a franchise opportunity or a business opportunity for sale that makes total sense.
And, you may not need as much money as you think.
But, you'll need some. There's no such thing as "no money down" in a franchise business opportunity.
Think about this idea.
It may just work.
